Pelham has appointed a new director of corporate services and treasurer.

Teresa Quinlin, who has been serving in the role on an interim basis since May, now officially holds the title.

In a media release from the Town of Pelham, it states Quinlin has a wealth of experience, including working for 21 years at Niagara College and working as an independent consultant. She well versed in the corporate financial services sector, such as leading and executing capital projects, budgeting, and financial reporting.

In the release, Pelham Mayor Dave Augustyn said he and council are impressed and pleased with Quinlin’s work and think she is a great addition to the team. He said even in her stint as the interim director of corporate services and treasurer, she treated it very seriously.

“I am really enjoying working in the municipal sector,” Quinlin said in the most recent media release.

Quinlin is replacing Cari Pupo after it was announced through a media release in May that she was no longer employed by the Town of Pelham, without giving any indication as to why.

Quinlin’s appointment as the new director of corporate services and treasurer was confirmed by bylaw during a regular council meeting on Aug. 5.
